Meet Squeaks — the little survivor with the biggest heart Squeaks is one incredibly lucky little girl. All signs point to her being the victim of a bird‑of‑prey attack and dropped miles from civilization near Camp Nelson. A utility worker happened to spot her during a repair call and walked her five miles back to safety.
She arrived with severe throat injuries and likely some voice box damage — she doesn’t bark, she squeaks, which is how she earned her name. Thanks to the care of a compassionate local veterinarian, she’s now on the road to recovery.
After everything she’s endured, Squeaks may carry some PTSD and will need patience, gentleness, and a calm environment as she continues to heal. But despite her trauma, she remains a friendly, trusting little soul who loves nothing more than being held close in your arms.
Squeaks is proof that resilience comes in the smallest packages. She’s ready for someone who can give her the safety, love, and understanding she’s always deserved.
