Maverick had been on his own for some time before being rescued. That being said, he is pretty chill and laid back. He likes to sit at your feet and get as much petting as you will give him. He is a little attention hog. He loves playing in the water and likes to go swimming. Maverick loves kids. It takes him a little time to adjust to other dogs but is playful once they get to know one another better.  .
